Aug 21, 2008 - No, CE has nothing to do with the edition and the names. In the Japanese version, the "bosses" do not have the same names as the American ones do. I think the only one that stays consistent is Sagat.

Aug 21, 2008 - the reason the names are changed is because they came up with a character that resembled Mike Tyson and gave it the name "M. Bison". They wanted to avoid legal issues in America, so they swapped the names up a bit. No biggie.

Aug 21, 2008 - What hardware are they playing on exactly? It seems to be arcade hardware, but why does it say "Game Over" at the end of each fight? On a standard arcade machine the winner would continue with the next computer opponent. Also, after the tournament, it shows the ending you only see if you beat the CPU with all "perfects", which doesn't make any sense in this context either. Was this a specially programmed version of the arcade hardware just for tournaments?
