From WWL-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana. A new I-10 twin span bridge is currently being constructed on Lake Pontchartrain between New Orleans and Slidell parallel to the current one. You may recall that the current twin spans suffered heavy damage from Hurricane Katrina's storm surge and emergency repairs were made.
