Oct 11, 2008 - @ bariemt - I bought a copy of the DVD on a visit to the USA and have had no problems whatsoever playing it in my Region 2 (European) DVD player. It doesn't say anything about regions on it and seems not to be region specific.

Oct 11, 2008 - sorry, but the composer is not marin marais at all (he is the caracter playing the viole de gambe) the composer is arcangelo corelli this piece is quite famous (follia) and it comes strait from middle age music. you can hear there is a huge difference between french and italian music at this time
