May 14, 2008 - is this in japan?
citizenfitz Says:
May 14, 2008 - Man, this one's sad. J's pretty stoned here. He can't keep a musical thought going for more than a few seconds; and the drunk audience thinks it's just fantastic. And notice his filthy jeans.... There are some things even musical genius can't help.
V1T3K Says:
May 14, 2008 - I agree, that he looks quite fucked, but it's great musically, close your eyes and LISTEN!
catboyzee Says:
May 14, 2008 - But maybe I'm Crazy, maybe I'm Crazy...Gnarls Barkley 2006But Jaco's still a genius.

karrowarro02 Says:
May 14, 2008 - can someone tell me the name of this song?
bakedbadds Says:
May 14, 2008 - The title of the song is "America the Beautiful." Sucks to be 'citizenfitz' who, due to Jaco's grubby jeans, can't even tell what Jaco's playing, much less how well he's playing it...
nonameprovided Says:
May 14, 2008 - First of all, Jaco on his worst day is better than anyone on their best. But here we can see just a tiny peak into his downward spiral. Jaco plays the bass this good in his sleep. But looking closely, I see the off-centered pacing. The dirt on his clothes. The puffed look to his face. And a raising level of unpredictability that unfortunately became his MO during his final days. I'm sure no one knew Jaco would play America the Beautiful. Not even Jaco himself. I wish he could have lived.
nonameprovided Says:
May 14, 2008 - actually, I take that back because I know he was known to play America. Man...wish he could have lived though.
znigro Says:

destruction143 Says:
May 14, 2008 - Cliff Burton was better but, Jaco's still a pretty good bass player.
edigiam2007 Says:
May 14, 2008 - Well you obviously dont know what your talking about! Jaco was a pioneer. Cliff was not. End of story!!

May 14, 2008 - are you mad man?
BarrelLifter Says:
May 14, 2008 - Sadly it was Jaco still trying to perform while in the grip of mental illness & addiction. Perhaps it's not close to when he was playing in his prime but impressing none the less.Rest in peace Jaco.
JOMESTOWN Says:
May 14, 2008 - congratulations kid , that's the dumbest shit I've ever read on youtube
destruction143 Says:
May 14, 2008 - Well see, that's your opinion. I think Cliff was better because, I liked his style more. Plus, not only could Cliff out shread him, he was just a better musician. I still think Jaco was good so chill.
