Sep 6, 2008 - Yeah, that's cello. If you listen closely, you may notice that the "background guitar" sound has deeper tones than you get from a guitar. The only guitars I've heard that have a similar sound are Korn's 7 stringed guitars... Also the volume doesn't diminish.The playing they do in this video is done for visual effect(a very effective visual effect I think). If you were to watch them do this song live, it wouldn't look like that because there would be someone playing those "background" sounds.
