You can't just look around wherever you feel like in formation. The parachutist didn't even yell out. Not to mention that the beret's they are wearing lay just over the right eyebrow, cutting off the very upper right section of your vision. Reaction time is a non factor when you are unable to see or hear what's coming.

The band couldn't see because they were facing in the opposite direction while the parachutist flew in at 50+mph at a shallow angle and without any warning.4. Sep 6, 2008 - This is what happen when you have someone that didn't follow with attention the parachute courses and an organization that didn't respect the minimal security conditions with ppl at such level with a parachute. If there was somebody on the ground with a good level, he wouldn't have allowed that. Parachuting is fun but in the frame of the security rules, it's not a suicide, it's easy to jump from a plane but what is really important is how you fell and land.
