It is one of the few publications in the United States that actually covers international news and politics beyond the standard "horse race" of politics. I would have to give credit to the Wall Street Journal...they were a similarly great source of news, albeit more focused on business, prior to Mr. Murdoch's Fox-Newsing of the paper.
