Jul 26, 2008 - Ask why it actually took them nine years to make this sequel... because they wanted to create a much beautiful & more real concept of these characters, who they could have or who they're supposed to be and should be... and also, the first part is so compelling to destroy such. thanks for posting!

Jul 26, 2008 - One of the most powerful scenes in all of "Sunset" (the boat ride conclusion and then in the car). The chemistry between Jesse and Celine is still very much alive and strong but so is their tension and (underneath all that) frustation. Their love story is very genuine, touching and refreshing but (unfortunately) complicated and now more so because of their present relationships. Just as they felt "innocence lost" in "Sunrise" so do we as viewers that the idealism disappeared (reality set in).

Jul 26, 2008 - I like this scene too. Well, the next scene.We get see what was wrong with Celine in this scene. Through out the movie she was sort'a pushing Jesse away and when Jesse was trying to comfort her in the car, it was revealed. Basically, she was never truly ever to love anybody else again and she blamed the blissful night that Jesse and her had. Now, she found out Jesse is married, she feels a little more depress. Jesse just reminds her how much love she used to have.
