They are not marketed as professional dance poles. their other pole the electra one is the one for more substantial moves and i, for one, love it. anyway, just wanted to point it out! (and also, you do not need to screw the electra pole into the ceiling like some say) x

Get thin wood shim for bottom. Get real garter/money/boyfriend/(life).Won't break but maybe secure top, and sand/varnish where you grab it.
