Jul 7, 2008 - And how in your wisdom did you figure that out ? (Just out of interest of course ;))Oh and while your at it what key is it in ?

topmanfjc Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Cormac is great and I have most of his albums, but Mike McGoldrick can do everything he can and more. Mike, unfortunately, does not play the full repertoire of tunes that he has.

kevo32a Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - its F. definatly F.

BeauDavis17 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Cormac is so cool! He looks like New York ganster! lol jk

TheWhistleCollector Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Looks like a Chieftain to me.

graineag Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - I'm pretty sure it's a tuneable Overton F. The shape of the mouthpiece gives it away.Bear in mind that this footage comes from around '97 or so (when TnaG first went on air and before it changed its name to TG4). Overtons were (and many would say still are) THE low whistle to play at the time.

Jul 7, 2008 - I'm writing an Irish fusion essay and all these Cormac Breatnach pieces would be PERFECT, but I don't know the names of any of them so I can't use them!

HaraldBrunzel Says:

BrigitteGoldie Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - yep, Bernard Overton Low F, tuning slide added by Cillian OBriain.

Devmeister91 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - what's the instrument that's being played by the long-haired guy?

jsilke Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - The long haired guy is Steve Cooney... and it looks like Hohner or Steinberger Bass to me..maybe fretless ... & being played with a nice digeridoo feel !!

Devmeister91 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - thanks buddy
