Jul 26, 2008 - Isnt this for PS3 ?!?!
sgshaday Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Nope, 360. Maybe it will make his way to PS3 but I've heard it's just for 360. To be honest I'm not sure, but it's going to 360. About PS3, I'm not sure.

Jul 26, 2008 - I think it'll be a change but I think is a good change. You can actually improvise more and your surroundings are your gadgets, pretty much like Assassin's Creed. The first one was called Splinter Cell Stealth Action Redefined, I think this is were it redefines, which is good. You have to be smarter. Instead of waiting for making your move you have to make your move before the opportunity goes away. I think it's step forward to the games.
SeptiemeColonne Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Yes, they're simply taking the elements out of their Assassin's Creed game and sticking it into a Splinter Cell. This is not a step forward.
SeptiemeColonne Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I concur.
buthead5297 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - its for both
sgshaday Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - It took the guys about 6 to 8 months to lift a chair! Never seen that one MGS (not personal or nothing, I respect MGS). Cut em some slack. Besides I'm a programmer, the fact that basically everything reacts to your movements involves lots of hours sitting in front of a computer with huge lines of pure code. It's NOT easy. I think it went very nice, and maybe they're making it better, that's why the game has been taking it's time to come out. As a programmer and a fan... THIS GAME IS AWESOME!
sgshaday Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Ubi did what most ppl call "Thinking outside the box."
sgshaday Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - It is a step forward. There's things in here you couldn't do in Assassin's Creed. For example you can actually get inside buildings, and others. In the SC games this is a step forward.
argonzeit Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - wasnt the first one just for xbox? idk but my friend keeps saying it was on ps2 to but idk i think spinter cell was originally made for the xbox but im not sure
argonzeit Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - i love how you say its pretty much like Assassins Creed but i think that the game was just jumping all over the place and stabbing ppl it wasnt that fun it got real boring fast and some ppl says it was a stealth game cuz ur a assassin but it wasnt really that stealthy either but tahts my opinion
darthukas Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Assasin's Creed wasn't a fucking stealh game you retards... just jumping aroud and killing guards how fucking stealthy is that?!Splinter Cell is a Stealht game not fucking Assasin's Creed

EyEnOtgAy Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - actually it was on xbox then got ported to the ps2 a year later with toned down graphics and areas that were modified includng polished cutscenes and a prologue cutscene..
djg545 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - originally made 4 x-box only but then they decided 2 make it 4 da ps2 and i know coz i hav it 4 ps2
xRoMm3l Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - There is No PS3 version of this game, only Xbox 360, PC, and Nintendo DS.
Esquobar Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - actually Assasins Creed did have stealth bt a different kind of stealth. If you are a stealthy player on assisins creed like myself you kill your targets and then blend in with the crowd and the new splinter cell is going to be using some of the assasins creed type of gameplay using the cover of crowds but still similar to the original SC series.
BigRedButton5 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Assassins Creed was, what Jade Raymond called it, a "social stealth" game, where the stealth was about hiding in crowds of people as opposed to shadow. Stealth is a lot more broad of a gameplay device than just cloak and shadows.
sgshaday Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - It was for Xbox. You can look for more info on their page, if your friend keeps insisting. It came out for Gamecube and PS2 as well but the first time the game was released was for Xbox.
sgshaday Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Well they are different approach of stealth. Fact was that in AC you went to do your mission with stealth but had to got out fast. Altaïr uses a different kind of stealth approach than Fisher. For evading sight he uses cover from ppl (which Sam is starting to use too) to hide from the eye vision of guards and others, and uses parkour (jumping around). I like parkour, I practice it. Fisher's parkour is stealthier and more taken to this actual times since hey you got guys with guns not arrows.
inhumancode Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Oh, and I am very dissapointed with this. If I wanted to whore myself about through a crowd I'd play Assassin's Creed.
