"The Dillon M134D Gatling Gun is the finest small caliber, defense suppression weapon available. It is a six barreled, electrically driven machine gun chambered in 7.62mm NATO and fires at a fixed rate of 3,000 shots per minute. Gatling Guns typically feed from a 3,000 or 4,400 round magazine. They are capable of long periods of continuous fire without threat or damage to the weapon making them an excellent choice for defensive suppression."

Aug 30, 2008 - M 134 ALL THE WAY BABY!

smoochy88 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - You'd think that from the size, but the M134 typically isn't all that heavy of a gun, only around 35 or so lbs. They do make up for it in ammo consumption though, but M240 is still lighter, and isn't as front heavy making it better for mobility, 240 is used quite frequently.

eduvc123 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - lol so how about the m134 mini?

5chr4pn3ll Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - Am I quite sure that all "miniguns" use external electrical power. That is why you don't see people running around with those. And simply forget the movie "Predator". It can be done, but the weight would be staggering (batteries and ammo) keeping in mind that a combat ready soldier is quite heavy already.

5chr4pn3ll Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - The M240 is great in my opinion. Used it as a personal weapon in my time with the swedish army. We used it as a rifle (shoulder fire), great in CQB but a bit on the heavy side.

smoochy88 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - Actually M134 is nothing but gas, you'd think it would be power but its a gas fired rifle with no separate power source. I am sure there are new classes out there that use lithium ion batteries though. In the US Army and corps only Gunnery classes typically have M134s and other gatlings lying around, if at all. Defiantly on for siege missions to support artillery from close quarters

smoochy88 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - Actually scratch that, apparently M134 does use a power source aswell, I thought it was completly gas. Runs on a 28 volt

5chr4pn3ll Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - Hehe ok.. Have you got any specs on the weight?

bikedudeguy Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - LOL, we dont need 100+ bullets to kill a person.

Trevorkuva Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - Stupid American's, you are so proud of your country for finding better more efficient ways to kill other human beings. That's just amazing, Good for you!!!

Rechkalov7 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - wow this guy trevorkuva is a real douche bag, man give me the name of 1 big country that doesn't do weapons testings and i'll tell you right back you're a liar.

Peorhum Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - does it seem to anyone else that the helicopters seems better controled in one shot(minigun) then the other?

gabrielet Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - Trevorkuva, I am an American Vet who volunteered for duty in Vietnam, and guess what -- I agree with you. But I would not characterize Americans as stupid. We are just culturally vacuous and empty. In their blind patriotism America has become the most advanced nation in the art of killing, but the most morally corrupt and backward when it pertains to making ethical decisions on whom to kill. You are a cut above Blind morons like Rechkalov7, who have about the equivalent moral IQ of a walnut.

peeonu25 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - Were the most advanced nation in the art of killing yes, but im not going to agree with the statement on whom we kill. the reason were still in Iraq is because we have too many morals and CNN bitches when a couple civilians jump infront of some bullets.

redsleepingmaceo Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - well i am currently in the U.S. ARMY and i work with both of these weapons, the minigun is only made for heavy suppressive fire, and taking down small vehicles, not for blatant killing. when it comes down to it in the combat zone i would rather have the most effective amount of fire to keep me and my comrades safe, besides the enemy are proud to blow themselves up and hide in buildings and kill us however they want so why not make our way look cooler?

Tantrik9xx Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - sweet baby jesus, i want one

Rechkalov7 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - peeonu25 i like your low level insults your own i.q. is so low you're even too stupid to make a phrase that makes sense, blind this blind that wow what a variety of words you should have gone to school instead of inrolling , stupid fuck head.

Rechkalov7 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - gabrielet you're so stupid. A little more dumb and we would have to water feed you, suck ass.

Sioux1990 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - lol i want a gatling gun 2

isyourmojofly Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - but . . . doesnt anyone else realise that a minigun fires like 10 times more bullets in 10 seconds? give each gunner 100 rounds then shoot em . . .

willnofx Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - nem precisa falar qual é a melhor

gordongate Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - "wise is the fool that knows his folly"good for you, gordongate UK.

gordongate Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - it is more efficient to kill the greatest number of people by transporting a bomb into a densely packed area like a market and detonate it, people dont know its coming and wont run, who should be proudest now then? hmm?

thugr0meo Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - when the gattling gun fires, it will spray every where but you still have more lead coming out in less time to your target compared to the m240

Pscurve6 Says:

Aug 30, 2008 - What was the point of this video? Either way the target was hit, so it doesnt matter what weapon you use. Pointless experiment, but prob very fun to shoot that minigun.
