She's a singer playing at being an actress, of course her singing is going to be on point (as opposed to her acting). Sheryl, Loretta, and Terry are actresses that sing. They do what they do and they do it well. The movie Dreams are good, but in comparison, the original Dreams have it.

Sep 6, 2008 - OK! For one, Beyonce is an ENERTAINER! There is a vast difference between an entertainer and a singer. Beyonce, Jennifer, and the rest of the movie though they did a wonderful job, couldn't have done with Sheryl Lee, Loretta,Terry, and the rest of the stage cast did. Anyone who knows music, and vocals know YOU CAN'T SING AND DANCE. Which is why just about everything Beyonce does is done in the STUDIO and on TAPE! The Dreamgirl stage cat performed well, its jsut that the audio here is very bad.

I loved the movie DREAMS too, but it took a lot more time and effort for these women to do what they did! They are fantastic!

On stage live, u get 1 chance to get it right, in movies, u just retake the scene until it's right. that goes for singing live, as opposed to singing in a recording studio. In a studio u do all sorts of things until it's right. Singing live, you get 1 chance. Deborah & Terry Burrell r 2 beautiful singers/actresses & beautiful people! Debbie played Glenda Good Witch of the West in Broadway version of the Wiz & was excellent! Where r the Burrell sisters now?
