sykotoaster Says:

May 14, 2008 - My mom had this operation done, and she said it doesn't hurn at all. I watched her during recovery and within 2 days she was able to start driving again. She literally went from a 20/90 to 20/20 in both eyes after the surgery. It looks awful here, but it really is not all bad.

BlaizeStr Says:

May 14, 2008 - poor eye =[ i remember seeing a fishing hook being removed from an eye ball

mdatile3 Says:

May 14, 2008 - not really. also the patient is in a dreamy state and doesnt remember much. the surgs do a nerve block to cranial nerve 7 near the temple (its superficial root) and then do an intraorbital block (needle enters right under the eye, in the fat pad, and they hit the oculomotor nerve, optic nerve, and trigeminal nerve). dont worry, the pt really has no idea whats going on

mdatile3 Says:

May 14, 2008 - hi, i dont recognize the instrument well, but thats my fault not yours. are you using a phacoemulsifier or irrigation and aspiration? also, how do you manage not to pierce the posterior capsule wall (and blow the eye)?

May 14, 2008 - i'm 21 & it's unusual for me 2 develop microscopic cataracts in both eyes. I wonder what's it like having a surgery..?..

diamondblade1 Says:

May 14, 2008 - holy sht dood i wonder if you can feel that happening to you.!!

vjc2000 Says:

May 14, 2008 - people with cataracts dont have a choice they have to have surgery glasses wouldnt work its a clouding in the eye nothing can fix it but a surgical procedure it may be gross but if you have a cataract it has to be done.

fanta19844 Says:
