James Espy of DMC said that a Stage 3 prototype has been developed and will be maikng and appearance sometime next year. It's susposed to have apx 238 hp. I'v talked to people who own Deloreans and said that they are a very reliable car. Older Car's, cars in general have to be maintained. If you get one that hasn't been maintained of course it's going to be bad.

Nov 20, 2008 - my father worked in the plant in dunmurry!! one of the main flaws was the engine. It deserved much more than the wheezing old renault V6. in its time the performance was nothing special and could be outran by even modest hatchbacks. other than that, a great piece of machinary!!!
