Jul 7, 2008 - This was originally going to be a Rammstein song, but the others in the group didn't like it. They do everything as a democracy with Rammstein, so he went and made his own band. They all take breaks. What is really bad is to stay together until the bitter end.I like Babe and New York City a little better than this one.

Jul 7, 2008 - I dont know why everyone keeps saying Rammstein is breaking up... Anyone can see that the band has so much love for each other, thier like brothers... So anyone who thinks thier going to break up is just plain wrong. Richard said it himself. Why dont people understand that he just did these songs because he liked them, but Rammstein just didnt want to do them... so he did them himself.. that doesnt mean thier going to break up... Maybe people should think before they say things like that.
Azorenia Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - And I dont know if anyone said anything about that in this comment... but I was just making a general statment that had to be said because no one else would say it.

Jul 7, 2008 - NO THEY DIDNT! Emigrate is a side project of Richard
InsaneKramex Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - this is straight from the ESP website..Donʼt refer to Emigrate as a side project; Richard is clear that this band is a new project that exists on its own outside of the work he continues to do with his more well-known band. While the comparisons to Rammstein are inevitable, Emigrate can be described as a tighter, more streamlined and straightforward, with a hard rock edge that some listeners may prefer to the grandiose sounds of Rammstein.
InsaneKramex Says:
Jul 7, 2008 - In 2005, Rammsteinʼs Richard Z took a much-needed year off from touring and recording after over a decade of nearly constant work. But as is the case of many musicians, itʼs difficult to just walk away from music entirely for an extended time period. During this hiatus from his internationally-acclaimed band, Richard put together a solo project heʼd been envisioning since 2001, hired Olsen Involtini (rhythm guitar), Arnaud Giroux (bass), and Henka Johansson (drums), and called it Emigrate.
