Jul 7, 2008 - DragonSukhoi, The Ye-8 was a nice looking plane and when viewed from the front there's some resemblance, but really apart from the canards and intake position they don't have much in common; even superficially. To name just a few differences, the Ye-8 has tail surfaces, a single engine and a completely different fuselage shape, that of a MiG-21 as that's what it was based on; interesting plane though. :)
