Jul 26, 2008 - The dolphin churns up the water to create a vortex then releases a stream of air into it. The vortex creates the ring and keeps it from floating straight up. Jul 26, 2008 - the same as smoking people create smoke circles. the bubble is catched in a vortex of water. you can clearly see some loose bubbles spin along at 00:11. also later on, when the spin isn't strong enough anymore, the ring dissolves in bubbles as we know them.
