Jul 7, 2008 - One of my college instructors, told me that "Art can be anything, or a colaboration of many things".. As a Christian, I belive that Art can bring a lot of people together. Even if some people have negetive comments, its only because you left a lasting impression as an artist and as a Christian. I'm really proud of you. Keep up the good work.

Jul 7, 2008 - Amazing works. God has put something very special in her. She describes God and his creation in such a wonderful way! Keep up the good work, girl!

Jul 7, 2008 - what amazes me is she is able to draw these things without any study in anatomy or any of the other complex things you would have to learn to make these paintings. You never seize to amaze me God.

28sphinx23 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - This is ridiculous!!! 12 years old!! Are you kidding me!!! Some of those works are incredibly realistic!!! Praise God!!!

rippleon Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - This is so beautiful! I am speechless!

rippleon Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Many people who have experienced such wonder have maturing expression. There have been thousands, many of whom are so astounded they keep it to themselves....many who have spoken have been ridiculed, ostracized and even killed. Bless God for her.

DamnArtists Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - she chooses to "see God" in her own image, interesting. But, is this really "God", or is it Jesus? The bearded white man is universally accepted as an image of Jesus, so who is guiding her hand?

saimon20000000000 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - akiane, u are an angel.

angel92469 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - there's no word to discribe her, the best I can say is fantastic!!!!!!!

sharif77 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Painting is like music, you learn it from seeing others(culture) and applying, and the claim that these painting came from thin air (no TV or other artist observance influence)is questionable, especially after I read about her refusal to make a full painting in front of camera. I personally believe the story of Joshua Johnson(14), but not this.

BeatleUniversity Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Very impressive!

petetaboada Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Regardless of how the art was made, it is here and it has the energy of love and compassion. I understand that very well because all art carries energy and it is alive! Be at the present, and be the moment.

KireoUmoshiae Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Well, if you think about it, we all share the same essence whether that be God or just life or something else entirely, and, in that way, I believe we can share our experiences, as well. Without that ability, I don't think something like empathy would a possible concept.

elnino559 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - "The most important thing in this world is faith, because without faith you can't communicate with God."This young lady has reached me. The impact that her statement and her inspired talents have had on me are utterly profound. And her description and painting of God and heaven makes it all real, giving me someone to have faith in and a future in which there is hope. Thank you my dear and God bless.

messagesfromwithin Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Love and Light Thank you

bareinspired Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - :34nice defined cheeks ;]

jakoblorber Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - There is something more important then faith, and at the same time that is a better way to comunicate with God: Love"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."(1 cor 13,13)

xXmichaela1Xx Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Can I just ask.! She drew jesus yeh, but wasn't he from the middle east so how come he is white when really he should be brown or atleast look more from the middle east?? Not saying that it an amazing talent cause it truly is..! x

poursomesugaronme91 Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - wow...no offense she's amazing & I'm christian & I believe that it's possible to c visions....& she seems 2 have a good strong faith but jeez...kinda stuck up. I dont think that kids her age should hear the word "prodigy"

pmatas Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Yeah, it's a good question. The CNN story fails to mention that in addition to her natural talent, she has taken art classes as well. So she did have a model for her painting of Jesus - I read about it in another story. By the way, not all middle east jews are dark or brown.

ChicaXicanita Says:

Jul 7, 2008 - Amazing child! Remember that we all have the same ability to stay connected/reconnect with Source energy. In whatever creative form it manifests itself in one's life. Consider this: Brilliance, wonder, and awe could profoundly touch the life of someone through a seemingly simple act kindness.
