To be frank I don't care for films that discuss racism or so-called black films.Black films should be as diverse as we are as individuals.I'm a fantasy fan and I would love to see black and other non-white actors in fantasy and sci-fi films for a change.Why does every fantasy story only have white people as main characters.

I also think about stories that have been passed down in my family about HORRIBLE things done to them because they were defiant (running away, giving lip, sabotaging plantation tools..ect) a great DEAL of them were beaten, killed and maimed (They castrated one of my great great great uncles). Just look at what Toussaint L'Ouverture did. He upset an ENTIRE nation and in effect forced them to sale Louisiana to the states because it upset their economy so much. Nov 18, 2008 - Interestingly enough, I find a slight discrepancy in this otherwise brilliant account.The character of Rasputia Latimore from "Norbit" was not the stereotypical "mammy", but was more so the stereotypical "large, overbearing Black woman with an attitude".Two things about Rasputia:The only thing that made it worse was the white cake frosting that could have come off as blackface lips.The only thing that validated the character is how it shows that big ladies are just as bad as skinny.--FJ
