Introducing a new videogame icon....FaithIn a city where information is heavily monitored, agile couriers called Runners transport sensitive data away from prying eyes. In this seemingly utopian paradise, a crime has been committed and now you are being hunted. You are a Runner called Faith - and this innovative first-person action-adventure is your story.Mirrorâs Edge delivers you straight into the shoes of this unique heroine as she traverses the vertigo-inducing cityscape, engaging in intense combat and fast paced chases. With a never before seen sense of movement and perspective, you will be drawn into Faithâs world. A world that is visceral, immediate, and very dangerous. Live or die? Soar or plummet? One thing is certain, in this city, you will learn how to run.Mirrorâs Edge will ship in 2008 for the PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system and for the PC and is being developed at DICE in Stockholm, Sweden. http://www.gamehelper.com

Nov 18, 2008 - corruption in a perfect city and the delivery of information
fadfskfsk Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - It's of course in the future. The government has managed to suppress the demonstration and it has ended up with surveillance being a part of life. They watch over everything. This results in that those who won't accept it figure out new measures to transfer information without being watched -- this information is sent via Runners (which the main character is). Then one day the Blues (police) suddenly become very trigger-happy...

Nov 18, 2008 - Hi,i just bought this game today. Its about you being a "runner"a person who delivers messages/parcels etc in a city that would have it banned.something happens, and now there after you.Game is spent 80% of the time on the top of the citys.you do neat tricks running, jumpping, sliding climbing,fighting,etc.....it just follows on with a story line,i knind of like it,quiality and detail is great, even more if you have a hd tv.

gmailo8790 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - am i the only one who has noticed that lately a lot of movies, video games, books, etc. have been about the government (aka Big Brother) taking control of everything and closely watching for suspicious activities?...for example: V for Vendetta, this game, mirror's Edge, Ron Paul's new book (he talks about how the gov. will slowly take things away from U.S. citizens like the right to bear arms and a revolution will result), and so on...
gmailo8790 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - am I the only one seeing something that has to do with people throwing molotov cocktails at armed police officers with shields in the somewhat near future (as in within this century)?
gojirafan Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Never before in my life has a game trailer made me actually speechless. The music, the brilliantly blue utopian setting, and the graphics? And with it all being in first person? It makes me sad to not own a PS3:'(

Nov 18, 2008 - this game was great..short but, great. the ending made you feel the pointlessness in it all, i'm glad they didn't make the game have a sappy ending. the gameplay...i can't help but look at this and wonder...is this what sonic the hedgehog could have been? ah but that's just my choldhood talking
