Nov 18, 2008 - I read about this in one of the books. The PA was fucked up. Part of it got unplugged for some other crew, so there was no bottom end in the PA, just mids and high. Mal was fuckin pissed about it.

Nov 18, 2008 - What a day, my first festival aged 14. Bloody brilliant. Blackfoot and Slade were excellent. BOC were naff, whilst Whitesnake were still in their pre American big hair days (i.e. they were still good!!!). AC/DC were fantastic. Happy memories.

Nov 18, 2008 - I was there, it was amazing, i was 11 years old, incredible to think Angus was only 21 !The lineup was superb but not sure why BOC were playing ? I remember there drummer got sick and the roadie stood in ! Blackfoot were awesome and slade were great fun. It pissed it down all day and i kicked my poor mum in the head as i was on my stepdads shoulders when AC/DC came on ... We are off to see them in April except im 38 and my Mum is 65 now and still rocking ! Cant wait - great rare post - thanks
