Roger actually told Nole's family to be quiet during the ATP Master's series in Monte - Carlo 2008.As a supporter of Nole, I am just... SPEECHLESS. It's definitely not a right thing to do! Rather unprofessional! And, I admire Nole's patience for that:) Nole is simply the best! AJDE NOLE:D

diehardFedfan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Roger is in no way snobbish. He said 'I DONT CARE' after the AO SEMIS only because he has to focus on his own game...and he's the top player so naturally he has to care about improving his own game rather than caring about who will win.

kinglauda Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - They didn't ask him if he cared, but who did he thought would win the tournament. He thinks that the whole world evolves arround him.

diehardFedfan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - yeah so why should he care to think ho's going to win??? he's got better things to do..focus on his own game.

diehardFedfan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - who* i mean.

kinglauda Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Oh please, it was a perfectly normal question to ask. No one is saying that he should care, but that wasn't the question being asked. And the fact that he didn't want to answer the question that was given to him makes him a SNOB.

diehardFedfan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - you know what, people like you may never understand what it means to be world no 1...there are so many people who have met him, spoken to him and know what he really is..what he said was absolutely right...and what you think is not not going to make any difference. He is a humble champion and thats true..whether you like it or not.

diehardFedfan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - oh..and better look at yourself first..you're a nobody..atleast roger is out there ..is one among the greatest to ever play the game..be where he is first and then speak..

rogerfan8888 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I completely agree with 'diehardfedfan'. Federer is THE MOST classy, professional gentleman I've seen. With all his wins (#1 for 4 years, sportsman of the year for 3 years),he still is the most humble, classy guy.Jesus, what would joker do if he won a few?!and I HAVE MET and spoken to Roger and his family: let me tell you he is the most gracious, kind person u can imagine. joker's family act very low class;it takes a lot for roger make a comment.look at nadal, his best rival & how classy he is.

Etownmu Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - ahem- i don't by any means view federer as a snob. however, i did think it was out of character for him to say something to djokovic's camp, showing that they were getting under his skin. it was surprising.

MastaSkywalker Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Djokovic is such a arrogant loser, he deserves to loss!

annabellxoo Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - lol, that was nothing.Fedrer is a very nice guy and respects all the players, he wouldn't usually say something..There would be a lot of pressure on a world no.1, he takes it really well.God I would've snapped after a while, hehe I would have chucked my racket at them, and a lot of swearing would be involvedThat was the match which when Djokovic was losing he pulled out due to a 'sore throat'.He looked like a bad loser, even the commentators on the next match agreed.

xxCliCkFORLOvExx Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - federer is a noobi could do betterdoes anyone have a dildo

RogerAndMaria Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I lost all respect for Djokovic. Retiring because of a sore throat!!! Sore loser is what he should retire from!!! What a jerk. His whole family are total trash.

RyomaEchizen0425 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - As far as I'm concerned, I believe that Djokovic's camp was pretty rowdy during the whole match. In that case, Federer was in a reasonable position to tell them to be quiet. I mean cmon, the serbian camp tend to get a lil out of hand...

backspin7 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Good point. It also shows Federer's class because he didn't throw a huge fit or yell. He stayed in control, let the Djokovic camp know that they were out of line, and won the match.

backspin7 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Exactly. Federer is a player and not a sport commentator. When the press asks him stupid questions, what is he supposed to do? I'm sure that he often finds himself speechless when they ask him questions like that!

Osmanovic Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - and who are you to talk like that about anyone's family?? go buy yourself some manners

imaratsfan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - If there's one player who gets up my nose more than Roger it's Novak. I'm with Roger on this one as far as Novaks' camp goes, and in general the Serb supporters are too much. It's not a football match or Davis cup tie so observe some ettiquette and keep a sense of decorum and use some self control.

VAdirtyS Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Interesting clip. I think it was justified. I have a difficult time finding anything wrong with Roger's judgment as a player. I'm definitely not the only one either, hah.

Ricksonkimura Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Novak and his family need to pipe down. Roger's "request" was justified.

michael11863 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - was that djokovic's point?

hpeshp Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - roger was gentleman and well manner when he was untouchable an first place, but now he shows his true face and that "gentleman's style". this point shows that. his reaction was not in a gentleman manner even if novak's box was a little bit louder, he could do it more propriety. he very fast covered the spot where ball falls (later on hawk-eye graphic we seen that ball touch the line), and that show true federer when his crown is going to fall (and he is not the crown holder now).

MJMonroe Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Roger is great!Telling them to "be quiet" is putting in their place and well deserved! They should be respectful to Roger and the game

modem09 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - BULLSHIT!!

hippomonster3 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - i like djokovic as well but federer was absolutely right to tell them to shut up...if they cant muster any common courtesy then they shouldnt be in the stands. i think it was a pretty ballsy move from the king :)
