Payment's mostly indirect though. ^o^"googlejapan" has a channel complete with help-wanted playlist. tokyocooney received a box full of free stuff to hand out at the YouTube hanami gathering, Several months back they had a miniature TV-like stage set up in front of 109 in Shibuya, channel name "netabattle". Didn't have the guts to self-promote at the time, though TkyoSam did.
