Nov 18, 2008 - You're basically right, but it's kind of a play on words. It's both "Long live life/cheers to life" and "Live the life" depending on where you look at it. Viva can both be "cheers" or "long live" (sort of like saying "Celebrate Life (meaning life itself)), and it can be "live" as in "go live". The problem comes from all the romantic languages that use these words, although I'm guessing it's probably Spanish since it's more mainstream :p
