jasoncarter2010 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - I got this done on Thursday 15th November. My eye is very red, at first it was hard to open my eye, but its getting there now; still very sore and red though. I had adjustable stitches, It felt kind of strange but the surgeon did a wonderful job. Hopefully when the redness has gone down everything will look fine. Jason

Nov 18, 2008 - how did the adjustable work? when you come round from the anesthetic, did you get double vision, and then he moved it into position so you didnt have double vision any more while yr awake, or did he get it to the position then put you back under, then tightened it......im having it done on 11th january....cheers j from rob

Nov 18, 2008 - Hi Rob, I had the squint sugery as normal. 3 hours later they took me into a room and gave me a few eye drops; I think it's to stop the pain. I diden't feel any pain but it's was kind of uncomfortable having your eye poked at. (P1)

Nov 18, 2008 - They asked me if I had any double vision, I said yeah a bit. The surgeon pulled my eye in 2mm and though I still had double vison a bit it was not as intence. I still have a bit of double vision now, but it comes and goes. I find it quite funny, I was watching Nip/Tuck and instead of seeing 1 screen I had two :D; I kinda liked it.(P2)

Nov 18, 2008 - did it work out?I wasn't able to have mine done when younger because it was 'unique' according to the doctor :(

Nov 18, 2008 - This is so awesome! for years I suffered with an "Alternate Extropia" in both of my eyes (I was born with it). My mother tryed everything to fix it from eyes excer. to wearing glasses. Doc. in the 60's thought it was my vision, but it wasn't. So, finally I got this very procedure done and its been 6 years. I love it! However, the recovery for me wasn't as fast, I had a lot of bruise. the only regret: I wish I had it done sooner

Nov 18, 2008 - i had mine done 1 month ago. i wasn't satisfy with the result as i still squint a bit meaning i have to constantly remind myself to focus using two eyes.i m feeling difficult to see thing with noth eyes especially when reading.i still hv a bit of double vision, doc said it will go away but i don't trust him after he told me surgery will hv compromises meaning he don't feel wrong that he didnt fix me successfully but left with a bit squint.i wish i would hv done this with a better surgeon :(
ilovea4eva Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - i had a squint surgery when i was 4 yrs old...my eyes did turn normal and no one can notice that i ever had squint. but now that i am 21, one of my eyes are kind of going outwards. the doc said it's because i had surgery when i was too young and the size of my eyes 'grew' so yeh. but it's not that bad, i have special glasses that force my lazy eye to come in again so i look pretty much normal..but the downfall is that i have been wearing glasses all my life..since i was 4..
