I don't think even Paco De Lucia is as great in the traditional style of flamenco as Sabicas was. He is great at the new Flamenco Jazz Stuff. Sabicas was definitely the Maestro....Ole!

Nov 18, 2008 - each generation has his/her great. at his time he brought alot into flamenco guitar; then paco de lucia; now i think jeronimo maya is doing the same. but thru the generations; tradiational "older" styles are lost...sort of modern-influence. just compare this to newer (younger) artists and you'll see what I mean. It doesnt mean you can compare their skill; since new artists benefiet from past skills
