Highlights of Texas A&M's true freshman, Michael Goodson. Goodson had limited carries early in the season, but has been very explosive in the last three games. Goodson's best games of the season were against Baylor, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. Goodson hasn't had more than 12 carries in any one ballgame, but had over 100yds against Oklahoma. Goodson has been compared to Reggie Bush by several commentators, and Lee Corso, of ESPN Gameday said, "Mike Goodson is the Big XII's Reggie Bush"

Nov 18, 2008 - OU's D wasn't that great last year. Plus, the top backs in the big12 are clearly Jamaal Charles, DeMarco Murray, and Allan Patrick. If he was good, they wouldn't be a lucky 7-5. Plus, look at the strait up facts. With the O-line atm has (which is good) he should be putting up huge numbers. Period. Don't tell me it's coaching either. Get over it atm, OU and Texas still got you beat in the running game.

Nov 18, 2008 - A&M's O-line was average. At best. Plus, Texas and OU's defense is better than A&M's, thanks to FRAN. So you can't blame the 7-5 record on Goodson. Nice try though. Plus, Charles and Murray played with an offense that had a passing game, unlike A&M (Again, thanks to FRAN). So those RB's (Murray and Charles)didn't face a stacked D-line on EVERY snap...like Goodson does.

Nov 18, 2008 - i love having mike goodson in our backfield. there's two reasons he is not as big as bush though: A) we cant make a block to save our lives but when we do, he is GONE! B) he tries a little too hard to make something out of nothing. instead of going straight forward to pick up the first, he tries running backward or sideways to bust it open, usually resulting in a smaller gain than a straight ahead run. once he improves on that and actually gets some good blocking up front, he will be unstoppable
