Your Daily Politics Video Blog: The President bears the greatest responsibility for the catastrophe of the Iraq war. He was the key decision maker at every point. And he's fundamentally accountable. But if you look into the innards of the process that led to war there is probably no one who was either responsible for or involved with more of the bad decisions, more of the conscious decisions or horrible ideas than Doug Feith. You'd think someone like that would be keeping a low profile. But in fact he's got a new book out explaining how Iraq was a great idea, how nothing was his fault and sticking it to his enemies. Trainwreck is an overused term, but in today's episode of TPMtv we look at some choice moments from Feith's book release media tour where he explains how you've got the whole thing all wrong.

Nov 18, 2008 - McCain will be allowing criminal acts to be carried out.Anyway. No kidding in this comment. Feithangers me to no end. The guy if full of shit and a chickenhawk like the rest of them at the top. They have no problem misusing and abusing the military and hiding behind the likes of General Petraeus. This goes on TV and tries to perpetuate the lies that are getting my friends killed and wounded and our country into new depths. New depths in both money and standing in the world.

Nov 18, 2008 - I saw him more correcting the false memories critics developed since 9/11, doing this via references to actual meetings and documents. It's more likely that his decisions and recommondations probably saved my friends' lives indirectly.

Nov 18, 2008 - Feith's book is an amazingly incisive and balanced memoir. Sir, I can tell you didn't even read any of it. Admit it. And your video is full of egregious lies and misstatements. One million Iraqis have not been killed; that's a massively inflated statistic, perpetuated by leftists who care only about their agenda. The U.S. has not, as you claim, "attacked" many countries in the past 40-50 years. That's a ridiculous and ahistorical claim. And the author's name is pronounced "FIE-TH," not "FAITH."

Nov 18, 2008 - Doug Feith.. doug feith.. Oh YES! I remember. He's the lying SCUMBAG who claims Israel didn't want the US to attack Iraq. You know, like Israel doesn't want the US to attack IRAN next?Yep. Good ol 'Dual Citizen' Doug Feith. Faithful servant to his zionist masters. Not very LOYAL to the United States though, are ya Doug. Better that American GOY die for Israel, right Doug?cbsnews[.]com/stories/2002/08/18/world/main519037[ .]shtmlThis dogshit TRAITOR should HANG until his neck SNAPS
