Bascially this is my own personal music video of what I feel this song is about. I know it's not the "true meaning" but it's what it makes me think of. I had posted/created this back in 2005, My account was recently suspended for television show clips...quite upsetting. It's old but I know if I were to re-create it 2 years later I could do it a lot better as I have better equipment and editing software now.*If you're looking for a laugh, check out some of my other videos :)*

Nov 18, 2008 - i dissagree, i think the song more about the feeling and passion behind it, not the act of doing it. now nickleback's animals on the other hand... anyway, i think the song is like most of tools song in this case. they decided to put a hidden meaning behind the lyrics. and the whole point of music is to relay a feeling, and this reminds me of the passion...

Nov 18, 2008 - i think that he's attempting to convey the message that alot of people are brainwashed into denying the recognition of their raw, real human feelings, emotions and thoughts that Tool's songs tend to delve amongst, however repulsive they are, maynard tends to braid the dark so well with the light in his lyrics that the result is somewhat more pleasing than the other bullshit consumerist music of today (britney). Nov 18, 2008 - The first night i watched this video i was drunk. The sober driver decided to drive us all 14 hours away to visit a friend, driving through the whole night and morning. This song meant a lot to me. And it alywas will now. I love Tool. I love Maynard. I love Deftones.
