The Graphical Corruption and slowdown is due to me using that fan-made direct X DLL hook to get FRAPs to detect and record the video, I'm sorry for the minor disruptions in the short clip that shows the explosion of the tanker.Anyway, I recently went through Fallout 2 again in hopes of getting a much cleaner, "Perfect" ending. You know, slaughter every raider, kill every bad guy, wipe out everyone in new reno except the Wrights (Who were the least slimy, really) and do my best to uphold justice. I think I did a decent job.Oh, and I found a neat way to kill "the prez" in this game: Simply force him into a drug overdose. Mwa hahahaha. I never did that the first time and thought it was quite funny. the base didn't go "red" on me and I could go down to sabotage the reactor without fighting.Ok, actually, I got the scientists to overload it at gunpoint. Why would a governement waste thier time performing unrealstic and pointless expiriment after a nuclear holocaust which the Enclave or much less American govt. could barely survive. It makes no sense whatsoever. I know i have an opinion, "whatever" but at least it has a sense of realism.

Nov 18, 2008 - You're 28 years of age, but based on that response, I'd say you really have no idea about gaming at all...The original Fallouts are among the best games I have played, and I have played many games.Fallout 3 might be superior in terms of character customisation, but the original Fallouts IMO presented a far colder, harsher world.Nothing can replace Interplay's/Black Isle's work.Before making a judgement, how about playing the first two.

Nov 18, 2008 - Nope. It is based on a real situation. There was a plan by America to populate sapce during the 1950's. This was replicated in Fallout. The vaults were tests to see how people would react when put in certain situations with no, or little escape. (I.E on a moon or planet.) Nov 18, 2008 - Uhmmm? And to what benefit did this benefit the Enclave or the government. I read that there was a expiriement with 999 women and 1 man. Seriously, what do they think would happen? Stupid if you ask me. Then there was a intro clip of the Enclave slaughtering the inhabitants of some vault. Still didnt make any sense. Fallout 2 was a big mistake and in Fallout 3 it only gets worse. Avellone should have left conspiracy storytelling to Deus Ex. Deus Ex, proably the most intelligent story ever told.

Nov 18, 2008 - Fallout III is a good game, but friends of mine all agree: Fallout III is just Oblivion in the Fallout world.It just lacks a few elements...a top story for one.Given that Fallout II had Broken Hills, showing that Mutants and "normies" could co-exist peacefully, I reckon there should have been a similar settlement in Fallout III.The ending of Fallout III also hardly took into account what you did.Saved Old Town, helped slaves, killed slavers etc. --> No mention of any of them end of game.
