Nov 18, 2008 - That was a really great video. Question: Who sings this song? It's one of those things that I know I know, but I just can't place and its driving me crazy! :) Thanks in advance and again great job.

SecretSmile90 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The song is called "Against all odds" by Phil Collins. :) And thank you for your comment.

Nov 18, 2008 - did you know madaam pompadour is david tennants real life girlfriend?

SecretSmile90 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yes I knew.

psvs1 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - thats cool cause i didnt until 2 days ago. oh by the way beautiful video. i laughed, i cried. lol this was a really sweet episode.

Nov 18, 2008 - love sophia myles. especially in tristan and isolde which is a great movie.

proudveggie Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Oh wow that was beautiful...aw i nearly cried. That episode was my favourite so far and I love this song. Keep up the good work xxx

Hermione3 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Before I say what I'm gonna say, don't get me wrong, I love your editing. So this is no critism to you whatsoever. What I hate is the relationship that the writer of this episode created between the Doctor and Reinette. He just wouldn't be like that with her. And he certainly wouldn't of left Rose and Mickey in that spaceship when he went through the time window (I mean when he trapped himself there). He was really out of character. Hated the episode.

Sketty24 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I disagree with this. I think Reinette is the first woman the Doctor has seen and genuinely fell head over heels for.

DavidTennantaddict Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Well not really - I mean what was he supposed to do? He couldn't use the Tardis to get to her(alright, I agree, that was a fudge for the purposes of the story, lol) so he had no option but to use the time window, and he didn't have time to drag Rose and Mickey along with him. And he couldn't let her be killed by killer androids, it would have screwed up the entire history of the world, as she was an historical figure, who helped shape France!

Hermione3 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The Tardis does fly normally, he could of flown that at the window instead.

DavidTennantaddict Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yes I know, but - well in this story anywho - he said he couldn't use the Tardis as they were all part of the events now...a fudge yes, but I suppose a necessary one, for the story to continue the way it did, lol! ;-)

Hermione3 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - No, they can't travel in time because it's part of events, doesn't stop it from flying. Like in the Runaway Bride, he flew it down the motorway even though he was already part of events. See what I mean?

DavidTennantaddict Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Oh, I see, you meant actually fly it through the window - sorry, had a d'uh moment, lol!

Hermione3 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yeah, that's it! lol.

LacyLuvsGodiva Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I absolutely adore this video and I love the relationship between the Doctor and Reinette. She was his soulmate (because of the mindreading) and I think it made a boundary between the Doctor and Rose which needed to be drawn, not that I dislike Rose.

Padme0 Says:

totallyDT Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - that's so sweet this was a gr8 episode. love how you did the titles at the end.

4thDan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - This was one of the best Tennant stories done so far! Great video, I've watched it over and over!

keepingthetardis Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Brilliant. I have just uploaded a Doctor/Reinette vid myself, but have used the typical romanic style love song. Never would have thought of doing this type of vid, but you have made it work perfectly. A fav and a 5/5.

lostinlost Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Awesome vid mate, thanks for creating and uploading! I dont know about anyone else but i personally think that Tennant is particularly hot in this ep. I dont know if it is the warm lighting thats tans him or the fact his hair is styled slightly different, or something else, but there is something there that makes him even more hot than normal. Anyone agree?

msm2you Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I would argue that Reinette was his soulmate *before* the mindmeld. He did not back away from her kiss for one. But more importantly it is he who establishes her as an intellectual equal ("fantastic gardener!") something that the other companions were not.The Doctor may love Sarah Jane and Rose, and care deeply for Martha but there is no doubt that he was *in love* with Reinette.

raspberrypopsicle Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I think Journey's End established that the Doctor was indeed *in love* with Rose. Girl in the Fireplace was a great episode, and the Doctor and Reinette had chemistry, but I don't think we can make that much of it when he only knew her a few hours. He admired her because of all he knew about her history, but he didn't really *know* her.
