Nov 18, 2008 - Ha ha ha an homosexual how amusing.

Aviosys Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Usually only the brakedisks suffer in aborted takeoffs but in this case they have the tires burning and mellting! I don't believe the firefighters ever anticipated such a big fire! They seem struggling to put out the flames and the whose doesn't seem long enough! It seems it needs a hell of a paintjob after the test!

jpm2341 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - what's with the music?

deltafan909 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - i wonder what it was like in the cockpit

whoddaya Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - 4:38! Woah, the plane just like... collapsed! Crazy!

sussertheoriginal Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I usually get annoyed at "music" but in this case, the plane wasn't making noise once the engines were shut down.

Eli1234gordon Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - What had happen?I think the rear are over pressure and it burst.

Eli1234gordon Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Hey kathrinlh,where you that song?And what's the name?

starbucksc0ffee Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - so, the air bus didn't passed the RTO, the tires exploded and caught on fire

simpsonstewie Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - the engine almost touched the ground. if this was boeing. they would not fly again

ct92404 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - nice looking plane, but...TEST FAILED!

DVA3952 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - The A346 passed on a 2nd attempt. Tire plugs didn't do there job, so its not the plane's fault. It did its job in terms of stopping.

airlinesss Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - (on the side of the plane) HIGHER QUIETER FASTER but also MORE DANGEROUS, :P

pjholl Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - see /watch?v=hRzWp67PIMwthere are English subtitles to the exact same test., quite dramatic.

hhhvvim Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - BF Goodrich?

seaniam81 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - No it's because it's all part of the test. The aircraft must come to a complete stop and be able to taxi or stand still for 5 min. before the firefighters can help. Now the tires shouldn't have burst like that. They should have deflated slowly, but there was a problem. watch the 777 RTO test it explanes everything

DeeJayMiikkii Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - No the heat from the brakes melted the tires and they exploded, they can get up to like 1000 degrees Celsius if im right?

samwhitewick Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - amazing video! all i can say very dramatic including the music

JPChabert Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Yes. Because they are Carbon brakes, they heat up very quickly. But then Carbon brakes are more efficient when they're hot, say between 150 and 600 °C. They also cool really fast. The only problem in my opinion is that they tend to loose efficiency dramatically when they're too hot. Think : Formula One car brakes. They're the same, only a lot bigger.

thrasha666 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - at 5:20 i dont think its a good idea that those two guys just run in under the plane (left side of the video)

Swissflier101 Says:

robertjdm Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - It's almost sad! It's like the death of a plane! Great video!

Gerrit22041992 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - what was the fault, or what happends, and why stop after the landing?
