Nov 18, 2008 - cuz they dance to better music! This stupid upbeat, white trash song is stuck in my head cuz I heard it at a movie theatre. And where are the coloured ppl at in the vid? I bet that most ppl who actually like this shit hates genres like hip hop and reggaeton. Sux that he is Canadian. We already have crapy artists like Celine dion and Avril Lavigne. ANdYeah this song was really asking for a hating.

Nov 18, 2008 - hahahah cool cool. i hate other peoples opinions too. we should form a group. bye
endofsuburbia Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Where are the coloured people? I think that's the point.
endofsuburbia Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Oddly, the video was inspired by a low-budget documentary, "The End of Suburbia".
studio551 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - sam is our (candian) answer to bruce
Jabra55 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - I don't see how not having any "coloured" people in a music video that takes place in the whitest of settings, the suburbs, makes this video white trash. Ya kids are dancing to other music today, and that's part of the point of the song. Another point of the song and video is that there's a connection between disposable music and disposable living. Whatever happened to music that was written and performed my musicians that people danced to? Houses and songs are made the same... quick and fast.
wilkes85 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Why do you stupid assholes have to always pull out the race card?!You claim Sam Roberts is a racist because there's no black people in this video? I think you're racist for assuming something like that!!Anyway, you are a racist. "white trash"?! That's a racist remark.By the way I reported you.
natureboy1469 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Hey Sam, I saw you in Belleville on November 7/08. GREAT SHOW! ~~~THANKS A MILLION~~~IT WAS JUST LIKE "CHRISTMAS MORNING" ALL OVER AGAIN.
natureboy1469 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Get a life and stop acting like a dick.
ariadarabi Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Well Its kinda true tho, back in the 20s or whatever african people were slaves so they wouldn't have been in these videos.
wilkes85 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - So basically, Sam Roberts, who is a musician today, is a racist because some people who happened to be black, were slaves 80+ years ago?You make no sence. Now watch the video, listen to the music, and stop being a racist.
ariadarabi Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Um hahaha no. I was never a racist in the first place. I was just referring to those racists who think sam robs is a racist because there was no brothas in the vid.
wilkes85 Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - Oh haha, sorry man
