bob1qaz Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Are you fucking retarded it records at 1920 * 1080 at 60fps you really are a complete moron do you even own a tv? you say I dont own a camera yet you talk out of your ass about everything. Please i'd really like to see who owns a tv that displays 10 megapixel resolution please just show me one tv.
deanbed Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - What Twat displays their quality photos on a tv. my quality gets published in magazines and are purchased by web designers you are not in my league with fixation on your plastic toy camera.you have a fixation with this crap machine and tv, stop it now before they cart you off to the asylum.stop bleating shit and get a decent camera. no I don't have a 10 megapixel tv and you cant buy one, but I do have the best 50" screen money can buy and I use it to watch tv or films not for photography.

Jul 26, 2008 - Have you got anything intelligent to add or do you admit defeat now you know you have lost the argument, I think what you do is listen to other peoples quotes on megapixels and then pass them off as your own pretending that you know what you are talking about.

Jul 26, 2008 - I intend to buy it for high speed tennis stroke analysis. It is a camera that only fits a certain niche of people, and for the vast majority of people, they would be served better by something different. But if one wants it for this one thing, then there is NOTHING like it at anywhere near the cost. The ability to break down a service motion at 1,200 FPS for $1000 is awesome.J

Jul 26, 2008 - shut up already!!, Its not ALL about the pixels. What about CCD? CMOS? Lens?, Gain?, exposure. Why don't you buy one of those Chinese 10 megapixel cameras, see how well they perform.
deanbed Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - And your point is?am I supposed to be impressed,Its basic stuff your talking about, you also have to understand how to use it to get the best from it. I dont do point and shoot like this exlim.find some other person to try to impress with your limited knowledge.PS I already have one of those chinese 10 megapixel cameras the FUji S9500, fortunately I have moved on to a better SLR to get the standard I require from an image.
deanbed Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I am going to make this plain and simple for the MORONS out there. This camera is for getting lots of action shots at high speed (basically your freeze framing a camcorder image) and its not a quality camera.I want quality not quantity thats why I have a SLR.I did say it had its uses but not for me.so stop being petty and attempting to be clever.basically if you dont like what I say then fuck off and get a life.
JoeyRythem Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Guy, my point is, Digital cameras are NOT all about megapixels. All your comments here speak of pixels pixels pixels. Give it a break. Although I do agree with you on "you also have to understand how to use it to get the best from it" Some people just "jump the gun" on an extremely expensive and end up not knowing how to use it. Limmited knowledge? How can you tell how knowledgeable I am from a comment like that?
JoeyRythem Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - What I meant by Chinese 10 megapixel camera is one of those cheap knock offs on ebay, "but they are 10 megapixels right?" Sure, 10 million pixels of shitty optics.
deanbed Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Read again I do not say pixels are everything.think before you comment.Knowledgable? you are a 16 year old barely out of nappies, you have no life skills wisdom or enough knowledge.
JoeyRythem Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - There you go again. How do you all of a sudden know who I am just by reading some comments and youtube profile? I have no life skills? My age has nothing to do with this. There really is no need to get personal. You think you know it all but you dont, dont be so ignorant. "(basically your freeze framing a camcorder image)" What? what $999 camcorder can shoot at 6 megapixels? Anyway, its over you've made an ass of your self. Dont even reply cause I wont read it. Just chill :)
deanbed Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - You have just showed your age, you don't know what I know and why call people ignorant because they dont agree with you, the Ass is you, junior Mr know it all at 16.LISTEN to the figures about this camcorder before you comment, QUOTE: the resolution drops in camcorder mode so its not even the 6 megapixels you stated.Wrong Again!

Jul 26, 2008 - can anybody tell me what kind os memorycard have to buy forslow motion or fullHD?Sandisk ultraII is enough?(i dont think)or extreme III with 20mb/s is enough?please somebody tell me!!!Thanks
tobzo Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I've got one, it works fine ;) Invest in 6gb, or else you'll fill up the card with like 15 min. of hd video :P
toppbgear Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I need a reliable place to buy this! Someone?
timtak1 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - It takes HD movies too. It is a hybrid. For most amateurs (i.e. most of us) 6MB is enough for stills. Rather than providing Pro quality stills, Casio are going down the hybrid road. I have one of the precedessors p505 and I really liked it for staps and way more youtube quality video. The problem with this camera is that the view finder does not point forward. And obviously, it is not for magazine covers, but most of us here on Youtube do not shoot magazine covers.
timtak1 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - On a 8MB SD card you can shoot about 2 hours said one review. SD cards come in a lot of speeds, and you probably cant use the slowest.
timtak1 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Cropping is useful. You don't need a zoom if you have enough pixels. But for the most part (unless a pro like yourself taking magazine covers) pixels become pretty useless to most users over about 8MB.
timtak1 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - It can take an external microphone. It would be great for video interviews and vlogging but for the fact that the display can't be moved around to face the front so that one can video oneself.
deanbed Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Its good for what it does its just not for me!good luck with it.
no288 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - It sounds nice and I've seen some great stuff but I have a feeling that soon or later I will get tired of seeing things in slow-motion. I don't think the image quality is that good. But to those who got it, I wish you all the best with your camera, enjoy the fun ;)
deanbed Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - Its a 6 megapixel at its highest. When its on 60frames shooting it probably down to 1 megapixel or less, wow great quality.HAVE YOU EVEN GOT A CAMERA, of course you have, and whats the betting you can only afford a 6 megapixel one at the most. HA! HA!oh my side aches from laughing at your feeble mutterings.I suggest you read a few camera magazines to get you up to date so you know what you are talking about!
