If it sounded good, Prince would incorporate it in a song. Now, he seems more content to play within the established boundaries of different musical genres: jazz, funk, his own "minneapolis sound". He really doesn't innovate anymore.

Nov 18, 2008 - Andre is so talented that to label him Hip-Hop is unfair. He is as much Hip-Hop as Prince, and I mean that with all due respect because his versatility. It's because of him and artists like him that personally feel we accept and blend other music styles, like rock and classical and jazz and pop into our hip-hop and really make it all-encompassing.
