kandykream Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - the alabaster box was a container that woman had that housed the oils that they had for personal use. Because times were hard is realistic to assum that the box nor it's contents came easily and as the song says "You don't know the cost of the oil in my alabster box." I pray that our youth learn to cherish the contents of their alabaster boxes.

Nov 18, 2008 - When mary knelt down to clean Jesus's feet the tradition was that a member of that household should clean his feet. It ths song she needed not to wait for a container of water. She gentely washed them with her tears and dried them with heer hair and then anointed them with something held dear to anyone who was fortunate enough to own one. Beautiful love story

kandykream Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - It does not matter what you have done or what you are going through, when you hear the voice call your name, we all should respond like Mary..Obediently, persistantly, lovingly, assuridly with purpose

Nov 18, 2008 - I can really relate to this song 12yrs ago I gave my life over to God and I finally have peace, in my life that only the Holy spirit can do. I wish that everyone would turn there life over to the maker of heaven and earth. Praise His Holy Name.

Nov 18, 2008 - I feel in love with this song because it is really beautiful and delivered so well.

TeslaSagan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I don't blame God. I blame religion. I don't believe there is such a thing as God. Religion makes people do wicked things they wouldn't ordinarily do. It doesn't make them behave better—it makes them behave worse. You couldn't get people to hack away at the genitals of their newborn children if they didn't think there was a religious obligation to do so. The licenses for genocide, slavery, racism, are all right there in the holy text.

ChaplainAcosta Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Religion does not make people do wicked things. Some people choose to do wicked things. Some people use religion as an excuse to do wicked things. Some others use atheism as their excuse. Unfortunately, there is good and evil within all of us. You are right: religion does not make people better. It is God who transforms those who want to be transformed. Freedom of choice is a gift from God. What you and I do with that gift is up to us.

TeslaSagan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - If belief in heaven was private, like the tooth fairy, I'd say fine. But tooth fairy supporters don't come around to your house and try to convert you. They don't try to teach your children stultifying pseudo-science in school. They don't try to prevent access to contraception. The religious won't leave us alone. These are not just private delusions, they're ones they want to inflict on other people.religion will be the futures mythology. Both believed at one time by many; but proved wrong.

StyleNMan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Sweet,beautiful song.

ChaplainAcosta Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Well, belief in the myth of a Big Bang and the necessary myth presupposition that matter has always existed is foisted upon educated people as a scientific theory rather than the scientifically impossible myth that it is. So isn't it a matter of which "myth" you prefer to believe? As with telemarketers, all u have to do is hang up. Religionists? Don't open the door. Like being searched at the airport (though unconstitutional), religion is, for some, part of the present inconvenience of freedom.

auguy21 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - ummm...im glad my genitals were hacked at

robinleigh131 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - You just haven't been seeing the Truth yet. We'll pray that your eyes will be opened.

datjuicyboo Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - this song is truly my testimony. I was the woman that she was speaking of. I couldn't find it in myself to be forgiven for some of the things that i've done in my life, but with this song, it gave me a chance to break free. it gives me the outlet that i never saw before, and i'm wso glad that a woman such as her, has been given the gift by god to let young women like myself kno that God is there to hold you when you think there's no one else around. I love and appreciate her for her ministry.

TeslaSagan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I wonder who got the shit job of scouring the planet for the 15000 species of butterfly or the 8800 species of ant they eventually took on board Noahs Ark. But at least we got that magical rainbow for all their trouble.Calling Atheism a religion is like calling bald a hair color. The invisible and the non-existent look very much alike. Our ignorance is God; what we know is science.

shennille9utube Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Don't worry, no one is forcing you to believe anything. Our jobs as Christians is to spread the word of God so that the truth is known to all. Whether you want to believe it or not is completely up to you. Try to understand that Jesus loves you and cares about you, that is why he told us to spread the gospel: so that you know you are a sinner and Jesus is calling you to repentance. But as I said before, the outcome of your life depends solely on you. Make your own decision.

mrtrentski Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Amen.

TeslaSagan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - To say that atheism requires faith is as dim-witted as saying that disbelief in pixies or leprechauns takes faith. Even if Einstein himself told me there was an elf on my shoulder, I would still ask for proof and I wouldnt be wrong to ask.Men rarely (if ever) manage to dream up a God superior to themselves. Most Gods have the manners and morals of a spoiled child.
