Nov 18, 2008 - WOW! I've been watching this documentary and they said the epilepsy must have connected the numerical part of his brain with the part that is responsible for recognizing shapes. It seems that his brain subconsciously finds the answer and feeds it to him through the shapes. I think that wasn't the only connection. How else would he get 3 wins like that in Blackjack? His brain may be giving him tips to what will happen before it does - or maybe he can mathematically predict events.....

Nov 18, 2008 - in my opinion is is stupid to suggest that he memorises them because its obivous that the people that test him havent arranged it before and told him before the question and answers and then you could say it could be by chance but even then he would have to memorise tons so i think he just has a psecial talent that scientists need to admire and not have doubts about, because who knows there probnally is someone else in the world like daniel with a similar ability or the same.
