Nov 18, 2008 - Also, don't forget to stretch your upper body too (arms, torso, shoulders, and neck). They get a good workout too when you run also. If you're stiff in the upper body you won't run as good and get what they call a "stitch" to the side of your ribcage (a cramp that can occur while running if not properly stretching the upper body as well).
