Nov 18, 2008 - You say the buttons are small, but you'll get used to them. Then it takes you 3 tries to adjust the fader. That was funny.

Nov 18, 2008 - Damn, this looks amazing but is it something you can use for like serious production with sampling? Can you load your own samples on it?Can you load a sample and chop up that entire sample and than assign the chops to the pads on the screen?Thats all i would need to make beats.Somebody let me know cause i just bought a iPod classic but this makes me wanna return it immediatly and get a iPhone just for that beatmaker software
Psopyxsus Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - It's probably not for "serious production" but great for if you travel alot and/or have a stroke of sudden inspiration. Also in the vid he shows a part where you can add your own samples. It looks like you can do some sample editing but probably not serious slicing like you're talking about. If you just want an iPod go for the new touch, they're cheaper and you don't have ridiculous AT&T service fees ($70 minimum/month).Anyway, I'll prob get this program pretty soon, love using FL studio.

Nov 18, 2008 - I like sampling and using chops so this is all i need to do that while traveling which i do every day.but ive read somewhere you cant play notes on the piano roll at different pitch heights not like in FL's Sampler.you cant do 16 levels like on a MPC neither. So if you want to make a bassline out of a bass-sound you gotta put that bass-sound on all the 16 pads and adjust the pitch 1 up on every single pad to play out a bassline right?Im not sure though

Nov 18, 2008 - Nice! A bit small to finger drum on it tho. Too bad the pads arent velocity sensitive. Overall its a kickass app.

Nov 18, 2008 - can the iphone/ithouch handle so much processing, sequencning, audio, fx etc??
iheartsedric Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - No, you have to rely on preloaded samples....Which, in my opinion makes it fun but worthless.
