Hovertravel operate the hovercrafts which cross the Solent in just 10 minutes, between Ryde on the Isle of Wight and Southsea near Portsmouth on the mainland. The service has been running since 1965, making them the longest established commercial hovercraft operator in the world! More details are available on their website http://www.hovertravel.co.ukFilmed on May 3rd 2007 at Ryde during my week on the Isle of Wight. Video edited with Adobe Premiere Elements 3, and music created in Sony Acid XMC.
