Nov 18, 2008 - No love for EVOL or Bad Moon Rising? :-( Those two albums pretty much changed my the way I thought about music...but I guess it's different for everyone.

samaelw Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - I wish I was 18 in 91 and born in seattle

Nov 18, 2008 - I've yet to hear BMR but EVOL was waaay too different for my tastes. My two favorite SY albums are probably and Daydream Nation and Goo.

ebaum1saik Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Don't forget Confusion is Sex. Those three albums really opened my eyes to all kinds of music. Just like The Velvet Underground got me into music.

Nov 18, 2008 - I think we have some good bands still in the year of 2008. Some Post-rock/indie bands are good, like modest mouse, tv on the radio, arctic monkeys(just started to like). So don't look back and regret that you lived in seattle in the early 90's couse then you'll wake up and regret that you never lived in the later 00's(?).

Nov 18, 2008 - I was 24 in 91 and living in Seattle...and it was the greatest time of my life.

franksvenatra Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - happy for you but so jealous. I'm 21 and what do i get? over-produced blandness, 80's nostalgia and a heavy dose of irony. i guess if i wanna hear something decent i'll have to make it myself. and yes i am trawling the comments

walter232221 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Hah, man, if you can't find any good music you aren't paying attention.

franksvenatra Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - nah there's great music out there i was more talking about the state of the current music scene. i kinda think music (at least rock) has gone as far as it can go and everything from now on is either recycled, ironic or minimalist. my generation will be remembered for emo nu rave. shit

cansam2905 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - i was born in 1990. but i read a booko from 80's where he mentions watching mtv religisouly and i also saw the devil and daniel johnston. where daniel johnston is also obsessed with mtv. i faintly remeber mtv plying some good alt. music. but so funny today the kinda shit thats on there huh. its like mtv sold out

ESuki Says:
