marleedd Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - jimi is ranked best, and jose feliciano plays like classic spanish, almost same sort like jose gonzales plays.

IIBrownieII Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Mitch Mitchell is one underrated drummer

SuperFantasticMan Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - A stereotypical classical guitarist? Jose was a better songwriter than a guitar player.Jose was good, but he wasn't revolutionary.

seabass0591 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - dude...he not a "stereotypical" guitar playerjose played blues, rock, flamenco, classicaljose plays whatever the fuck he wantslookim not putting jimi down but talent with talentjose is better

seabass0591 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - oh and btwjimi wasn't popular in the US while he was alivehe did most of his playing in different parts of the worldso hes not exactly "revolutionary"

stumay21 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Pompous asshole... Believe it or not there is a world outside the US you fucking tool.He was revolutionary because he approached guitar differently than anyone before him and he influenced a generation of guitar players.Regardless, he was huge in the US after his death, and when has being dead got in the way of an artist's work from being revolutionary?Go eat some "freedom fries" and pretend you're cultured... moron.

seabass0591 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - wat an idiotdont even try to start a culture argumentil embarrass youand chill the fuck outi was just proving a pointdont get all flustered and pansy on me

garbage63 Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Musical instrumentation is about a lot more than simple talent. Jimi Hendrix had a mix of talent, trained skill, acid inspired innovation, and, most importantly, he had soul. It's an unteachable sense that sets the truly phenomenal musical artists aside from the technically talented. This Feliciano fellow is a great musician, but he doesn't have what it takes to surpass that. And everything sounds better with a Wah pedal anyway.
