Nov 18, 2008 - Vicky released this song in 7 languages . French English Greek German Italian Japanese and Spanish . It was the biggest selling record in the world in 1972 . It is the top selling song from the contest ever for the winning artist . Vicky's 1967 song L'amour est Bleu is the top selling ESC song ever including Vicky's sales plus other recordings ( mainly Paul Mauriat instrumental ) Either way she has her name on the 2 biggest ESC songs which is quite a feat from her two appearances in the final .

Nov 18, 2008 - The language less appreciated by vicky to sing is english, and she is right cause she'been so succesful singing in much more beautiful languages like spanish, french, german, italian and greek. Nowdays everybody wants to sing in english just for commercial reasons....but english is not the language of love or romance. It is the language of rudness, bastardess, etc...by the way my first langage is by no means english!

Nov 18, 2008 - She is Greek and German. Why did she sing for Luxemburg then? The same has been done later with Céline Dion: she is Canadian, but she took part with Switzerland.
