Nov 18, 2008 - One of the most evocative pieces of music I've ever heard. We're it not for the Big Lebowski Soundtrack, it would be nearly impossible to find this song on CD. If memory serves, it was on the "Mr Lucky goes Latin" record that I would be surprised if ever re-released on disc. Thanks for the post!

Nov 18, 2008 - Finally I found it. Listened high and low to find it. Ahh... Voila. 'Didn't know its name but knew it was a Mancini. 'Was always haunted by its mystique and exotica.

Nov 18, 2008 - I went to an estate auction and bought for $25.00 a Magnavox stereo. The big wood furnature type. WOW oh WOW does it sound good. Now I can play all my grams old Mancini 33's. I enjoy that music so much better than whats on today. The stereo was made in 1967 and in Indiana, not CHINA like todays shit. It looks like it was new and sounds just as good. Wish they still made good stuff likr that.

Nov 18, 2008 - Wow, You just blasted me back into my childhood. In 1968 my family had one of those "consoles" in the livingroom (but NO tv--that was downstairs, away from guests, in those days). I wish I could come over and listen to it.
