Nov 18, 2008 - nice for a kidbutit would have sounded better if it was1) slower. this invention should be slower, with heavier touch. wtf to hurry? 2) there should be some pedalling, not too heavy, but without pedal it sounds ehm lifeless3) where are dynamics? she hits keys like hammer hits anvil...personnaly, i prefer to play it octave lower, to give it darker feel

Nov 18, 2008 - this piece is from bach of baroque period, its natural not to hav pedal cause it was not invented yet. a lower octive or a higher octive would rip off its baroque characteristic. pls study some music history and respect the composer eventhough he's dead

Nov 18, 2008 - wat's the deal of this? its not her playing!!
Gel1ebtedesregens Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - so, if im playing a piece with involving a little bit of my filthy soulless personality into it, i do not respect the composer? moreover, bach is among my favourite composers and i cant really understand how the hell you decided that i fairly don't know music history.i don't think music should always be played "like it is" from sheet. music is a way to express yourself. and not only composing. if person plays it in his own way - is it reason to say he doesn't respect the composer?
Gel1ebtedesregens Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - moreover, i doubt such a thing that as if the pedal was invented earlier, it means it doesn't suit here. i told even - just a lill bit of pedalling, not heavy one, not to ruin the composition.cause i believe playing an instrument doesn't give you a purpose to play it as close to original as it is, if it was - i'd never play it octave loweryeah i know its all classical music and not uglish omg norsk blazk metal, so it just has to be played as it is bla bla

Nov 18, 2008 - 1) Tempo is right (negra = 96-100). Some people play a lot faster (e. Glenn Gould)2) It MUST be played without pedal (like all J.S. Bach music). Some artist can add a little pedal to add character.3) Dinamics is OK. I can hear cleary the voice of the left and the righ hand. It was composed for "clavecin", that sound almost the same if you play it hard or soft. It's not chopin or Beethoven music.Congratulations little pianist...
Gel1ebtedesregens Says:
Nov 18, 2008 - if she played it like Glenn Gould i wouldnt even dare to think anything exctept "O_O omfg!"
