Nov 18, 2008 - Thats what utube is there for (opinions) so if you dont like it then dont use UTUBE. GET OVER IT. You said I should not waste my time and yours but why are you wasting your time by responding. You are obviously one that just cant take the truth. GET OVER IT AND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME RESPONDING.

Nov 18, 2008 - I.J.I sends a universal international barrier free message.Notice how theres lots of colour and light in their video.HouseMartins is dark, religious, guilty, and it looks like they spent about 10 minutes preparing it. If their trying to invite people to join their"caravan" Notice how nobody else is there. Its totally contrast to I.J.I. And since they wrote the song, they got it right. Please explain connection of their video to this classic song. Come good now

Nov 18, 2008 - this was controversial at the time in england. was it ironic?no - it represents paul heaton's liberal christian views and his love of gospel music. it's got NOTHING to do with american rightwing neofascist 'christianity' which has nothing to do with christ.heaton was always a socialist, a liberal, a human rights activist and a gay rights activist (even when he was pissed, which was most of the time in 90s.)he was also, with mozzer, the best lyricist of the 80s/90s.

Nov 18, 2008 - I would like to correct you opinion. This song is great and epitimises the 80's it didn't ruin anything it just took a different take on it. As for today's talent shows...ha, all they do is spout shocking plastic manufactured crap that all sounds the same!
