I always tell the kids to invest in the time practicing their skills and if they want top of the line boots, get those from one or two seasons ago. Many great skills were demonstrated and goals were scored wearing middle of the line boots. If those boots were so magical, how come we still witness so many beautiful goals from decades ago when players wore nothing but the basics?
