"Bad Boys Get Spanked," "The Adultress," "Tattooed Love Boys," and "Precious"--just to name a few are rock songs. I also worked with Chrissie and The Pretenders back in the day. Like other bands, they had rock, pop, punk and ballads that they did. If you told any music journalists that The P.'s were NOT a rock band--I'm sure they would beg to differ.

Nov 18, 2008 - honestly the image in this video could be construed as trying to cash in on punk a bit, which wouldn't surprise me if it was a managerial push since hasn't suzi said her early glam work where her voice is like an octave higher was a suggestion of her manager. She wasn't beyond trying to fit in with current trends ... (does she have any fake "hair metal" albums in later 80s? not sure)

Nov 18, 2008 - I think you have it backwards. Suzi was wearing leather and studs in 1973-74 when she had several hits outside the U.S. including Can the Can which was number 1.She was seen often on TV. Punk exploded in the U.K, Europe in 1976-1977 so maybe they stole it from her.
