Of course Barcelona signed a deal to play friendlies against American teams as it's easy money. Same reason Celtic plays in the states during pre-season. I'm a Red Bull and Celtic supporter but I know Celtic are far ahead of any MLS squad. No MLS squad would make the final 16 of the CL.
